Lime Crime Uniliner - Rhyme Swatch & Review

Purchased by me/Contains affiliate links

Hey lovelies,

You can tell this review has been languishing in my drafts for far too long from the packaging of this Lime Crime uniliner! Whoops! The packaging has recently been updated to cute polka dotted caps, my Rhyme is from the original release.

Uniliners are quite petite, but the only colour of liquid liner I regularly finish is black, so this doesn't worry me too much - it might if I had the black one, though. Makeup Your Jangsara did a great price comparison with other brands post here, which is really helpful if you want to get more bang for your buck.

The applicator is thin with the perfect amount of flexibility to create lines of varying thickness. I find it very easy to use for this reason.

The colour is a bright molten gold which has a lovely sparkle. Rhyme is a little sheer; the top swatch is a single pass, and the second is built up. I usually wear it stacked with black liner and have found it's best to apply Rhyme first, then the black - otherwise Rhyme can mix with the black a little and get muddied. I love using Rhyme to glam up a neutral look!

What I liked:
  • Long wearing, doesn't crack, fade or transfer
  • Gorgeous, vibrant gold. Love that sparkle!
  • Flexible brush makes it easy to apply
What I didn't like:
  • Takes more than one pass for complete opacity
Where to buy:
Have you tried any of the Lime Crime Uniliners? What did you think? I've had Citreuse on my wishlist forevvverrrr.
