Hey lovelies,
I have the most divine smelling scrub to show you today! Rainbowlicious Chocolate Chip Cookie scrub smells uncannily like its namesake, which makes it really tricky not to eat :)
The scrub is packaged in a hinged jar which is very sturdy. I keep this on the outer corner of our shower/bath combo for easy access and haven't had any trouble with any rusting. It's leak-proof when closed too, I can't tell you how many times Noel has knocked this into the tub mid-bath, LOL.
The texture of the scrub is thick and very gritty, like large sugar granules. It has small chunks of 'chocolate' which feels almost like a solid body butter, they melt against the skin and feel very moisturising. I like using this to exfoliate my legs and feet and more lightly all over in the shower or bath, it does a great job of it and the scent lingers for a good day after use. Noel really likes having his back scrubbed with it too!
What I liked:
- Easy to use - I just scoop directly from the jar and get to scrubbing.
- Leak-proof, so it won't get ruined if you choose to keep it in the shower.
- Smells AMAZING. Seriously, if I could send the scent through your computer monitor, you would understand how divine this smells.
- Reasonable price - retails for $10NZD for a 200g tub. Noel and I have been using this regularly for several months and we haven't made it halfway through yet.
What I didn't like:
- This is ultra nitpicky, because I adore the product and can't think of any faults - I wish it was easier to purchase Rainbowlicious products. If they had an online store I am sure I would be constantly placing orders. As it is, many of the soaps are too delicate to ship, so I understand why they have the current set up.
Where to buy:
- You can arrange a purchase through the Rainbowlicious Facebook page (Wellington region)
- Otherwise you may like to organise a mule :)
