Notoriously Morbid Palmistry Blush and Osteomancy Highlighter Swatches & Review

It's time to share some more Notoriously Morbid cheek products with you! I'm still really digging the formula and only have a few more to go to complete my collection. Have you tried any yet?

There are a couple of different sizes that you can get: samples ($1.25USD) contain 1/4 tsp of product in a sample bag, the mini size (pictured, $4.00USD) is a 10g jar with roughly 1.5 to 2 tsp of product and the full size ($8.50USD) is a 20g jar with roughly 4 to 4.5 grams of product. The sifter in the mini jars means that you're not faced with an overwhelming amount of product as soon as you open the jar, although you can always start your application with the residue in the lid to guarantee a light hand.

Each product is swatched heavily on the left and sheered out on the right. I take all of my photos with daylight bulbs for colour accuracy.

Formula overview:
All of Notoriously Morbid's blushes and highlighters have excellent colour pay off and a highly blendable texture that is very flattering on the skin. They don't emphasise skin texture or go blotchy during blending and can be sheered out or built up to your desired intensity very easily. I average seven hours wear with this formula.

Osteomancy is described as a 'pearly white highlight with the perfect amount of shimmer'. It's a glowy white with distinctly blue sheen, totally unique and gorgeous! What I like about Notoriously Morbid's highlighters is that despite the white base many of them have, I don't see any unflattering white cast or chalkiness to the skin when wearing them, although I haven't tested that on darker skin tones. Osteomancy wore for seven hours.

Palmistry

Palmistry is described as a 'gingery, deep maroon'. It's super pigmented and would be amazing on medium to dark skin tones, but the Notoriously Morbid blush formula makes it easy to apply more sheerly for a lighter skin tone like mine. This would be a very versatile shade to have in a makeup kit! Palmistry wore for just over eight hours.

I'm wearing Osteomancy and Palmistry on cheeks here, with the Essence Shape Your Face Contouring Palette in Ready, Set, Peach! I also used Osteomancy as my inner corner highlight as well as a bunch of other Notoriously Morbid eyeshadows - My Log Saw Something That Night, Extra Fancy, He's Going Through Changes, Doll's Eye and finally, Scotland the Brave foiled as a liner. The lashes are these ones from Born Pretty Store.
