Living Nature have brought out three gorgeously packaged lipstick gift sets for the holidays this year, each containing three lipsticks in a limited colour palette. There's Colour Me Vibrant, which has a mixture of red and coral, Colour Me Romantic, which features pretty pinks and Colour Me Natural, a selection of earthy tones for the neutral lip lover. The sets are $75NZD each which saves $24 on buying the lipsticks individually (they're normally $33NZD each).
I have the Colour Me Natural set, which has the shades Precious, Sandstone and Warm Wood. The lipsticks are beautifully presented, each nestled snuggly in their own slot in a slide-out tray.
Formula overview:
Living Nature's lipsticks are hand-crafted in New Zealand using natural ingredients and are Certified Organic. Their lipstick formula is packed with moisturising oils and waxes like coconut oil, beeswax and carnauba wax, giving them a less emollient texture than many brands; they don't slide around and won't feather or dry out your lips. The finish is soft and demi-matte with a natural sheen and buildable to semi-opaque colour pay off.

Precious
Precious is described as a 'nude pink'. It's my favourite in this trio, the kind of peachy-pink nude I always gravitate towards - so flattering on warm skin tones! Precious applied smoothly, was mostly opaque and wore for four hours. It was comfortable and non-drying during the time I wore it.
Sandstone
Sandstone is described as a 'medium pinky-brown'. It's cooler in tone than the other two lipsticks in this set which makes it a bit more interesting and different to me. As with Precious, it wore for four hours and wasn't drying.
Warm Wood
Warm Wood is described as a medium warm brown. It would be a lovely nude option for medium skin tones but works on my lighter complexion too. I found it to be a bit less opaque than Precious and Sandstone although it was still pretty even in its colour payoff. It wore for a little over four hours on me.
What I liked:
- Buildable to mostly opaque colour payoff
- They last for approximately four hours on me
- Comfortable to wear, non-drying
- Warm Wood was less opaque than Precious & Sandstone.
