Yesterday I shared a bunch of ColourPop Lippie Stix for you to check out before the international shipping promo ends and today I have a couple of their Ultra Satin Lips to show you! I've flip-flopped on the Ultra Matte formula a bit but the Ultra Satin formula has been total love for me from the get-go. They wear for ages, they're super pigmented and I haven't yet had any issues with feathering, which is always a big win when it comes to liquid lipsticks!
Ultra Satins are packaged identically to the Ultra Mattes except for the differing text on the side of the tube. The tube is long and slim with a small doefoot applicator that I find really easy to control. Formula-wise, these are thicker than the Ultra Mattes, they spread across the lips easily and have a light, chemical-y scent.

Echo Park
Echo Park is described as a 'warm peachy nude', which sums it up perfectly in my opinion. I really love this shade, it's more opaque than some of my go-to nudes, such as MAC Patisserie, but peachier than the other ColourPop nudes I tend to favour (shades like Cookie, Pinch and Parker). I'm really glad I picked it up! It lasted a bit under six hours on me and wasn't drying.
Frick N Frack
Frick N Frack is described as a 'rosy terracotta'. I'm still on the fence about whether I like Frick N Frack on me, sometimes I love it and other times it feels very ageing and unflattering - obviously, that's personal taste, not a critique on the lipstick itself! The application and colour payoff are both great but one thing I dislike is that it stains lightly and the redness of the stain shows through around the centre of my mouth very quickly - even in a freshly applied swatch like these pictures. It wears well though, lasting five hours on me and becoming more matte over time. It's not drying but it is a bit clingy.
What I liked:
- Great colour payoff
- Wear time was between five and six hours
- Non-drying
- Non-feathering
- Smooth, easy application
- Frick N Frack stains quickly and the stain disrupts the evenness of the colour
- Frick N Frack is a bit clingy
