Pretty Serious recently released their Evie's First Christmas bundle to celebrate their daughter's very first Christmas, which completely appealed to my mushy, sentimental self before I'd even laid eyes on swatches. Babies! Christmas! Awesome Pretty Serious folks! Nail polish! Exclamation points! Be still, my flailing heart!
This bundle is a rather bargainous $24.95AUD and contains Evie's First Christmas nail polish, a Cute Cuticles cuticle oil in North Pole and a special red Czech glass nail file. Ready to take a peek?

North Pole Cute Cuticles is a limited edition cuticle oil exclusive to this set. It has a candy cane scent which is quite subtle - a hint of peppermint, not a super strong, mistake your fingers for candy canes and find yourself absent mindedly gnawing them kind of scent. Excellent if you're not a big fan of foodie scents. The oil is lightweight, easy to apply and absorbs into the skin nicely. I'm quite keen to try the other permanent scents now: Bubblegum, Tropicana and Cupcake. There's an unscented version too!

I'm a big fan of glass nail files so I was super happy to add this one to my collection. It's very well made, comes in its own velvet pouch and has enough grit to file quickly and effectively. The red colourway is exclusive to this set, but there's a purple version permanently available on the website here.

Evie is a cherry red filled with golden shimmer. It applies flawlessly in two easy coats and has a good amount of gloss on its own. I applied top coat though, because I was on my way out the door and let me tell you, childrens' car seats have no mercy on wet nail polish. I really enjoy the Pretty Serious formula, it has a thickness which makes it super easy to manipulate on the nail, it won't run or pool in cuticles (WORST) and it self levels perfectly. If you love this classic red too, you'd better be quick as it's part of a limited run of 100 sets!
