Hey lovelies,
I've been on a quest for the perfect false eyelashes for my wedding the past few months. This of course, entails purchasing lots of different pairs to try out... because I take Sherlock Holmes' advice seriously.
I've largely stuck to Ardell in my quest because I've always had great experiences with their lashes in the past. Here's the first pair, Edgy #402!
The Edgy line of eyelashes have extra lashes at the end of the lash band to emphasise the outer corner of the lashes. The #402 lashes look really cool on and are reasonably natural - they're obviously still false, but not glaringly so. I found this style to have a stiffer lash band than I am used to with Ardell lashes, despite flexing and rolling them before application. The stiffness also caused them to lift from the inner corner of my lashline toward the end of the day. I like the end look, but I'm not sure that I'll be reaching for these that often.
A FOTD with #402 lashes
- The lashes feel lightweight
- Reasonably natural style
- Lash placement emphasizes the outer corner of lashes for a flattering look
- Stiff lash band made application more difficult & caused inner corner to lift
- Ebay
- Amazon
- Beautyjoint
- Selected pharmacies (NZ)
What do you think of these lashes? Do you have a favourite brand of false lashes?
X
Lani
