Hey lovelies,
A bit of a random post for you today! I found this Kiko Sugar Mat set on Ebay for a reasonable price and was super excited as Kiko isn't available in New Zealand and I'd been admiring their Sugar Mats on other blogs. The shades included in this set aren't actually from the regular Sugar Mat line though, they are exclusive to the box - and I can't find the full set on Ebay anymore, go figure! But they may pop up on Ebay again, or in blog sales so I shall share my swatches anyway.
I apologise in advance, half of the swatches are from when I was still photographing in sunlight and the other is from my newer lighting set up, so this won't be my most consistent post!

Apricot
Apricot, 3 coats
A touch sheer and would probably fare better over a ridge filling base coat. Very pretty though. Apricot has pink and gold sparkles that were nigh impossible to see in the focussed photos, so I've included a blurry one too.

Watermelon
Watermelon, 2 coats
This one is SO gorgeous and probably my favourite of the bunch! Perfect formula.

Cherry Red
Cherry Red, 2 coats
Another stellar formula here. I do sort of wish Cherry Red had more sparkles though, as they are quite sparse.

Wine
Wine, 3 coats
Wine is a deliciously vampy texture with lots of golden and red sparkles. Very easy to build up the opacity.

Light Taupe
Light Taupe, 3 coats
I don't think I've ever seen a texture polish this colour before. It's not for me, but the formula is fine.

Teal Green
Teal Green, 3 coats
This one is just stunning. STUNNING. Perfect amount of sparkle and texture, builds easily in three coats, but load up on base coat as it can stain.
*
Royal Blue
Royal Blue, 3 coats
Okay, maybe this is my favourite? A true royal blue, my favourite kind of blue. Very easy to work with and I don't recall it staining.

Anthracite
Anthracite, 3 coats
Another one that while perfectly fine, formula wise, just fell flat on the nail for me.
Are you still enjoying textured polish? Which of these is your favourite?
