Milani Baked Blush - Corallina Swatches & Review

After lusting from afar for a few years, I was thrilled to knock Milani Corallina off my wishlist when I did a swap with a friend in the States a few months back. I first fell in love with Corallina when it was featured on The Makeup Box, basically because it was coral, shimmery and the name reminded me of Thumbelina (which is my favourite non-Disney animated movie of all time). This makeup magpie is easily won over :D But now that I've had the chance to finally try it, I'm not disappointed!

The Baked Blush compact is light, gold coloured plastic with a clear window to see the colour and a hidden flip up compartment containing a small but serviceable mirror and a little brush which isn't great, but works in a pinch.

Corallina is described as a 'shimmering vivid coral'. This gorgeous coral is on the orange end of the spectrum, borderline tangerine, and has lots of silvery shimmer (if you don't like glitter in your blushes, steer well clear!). I was impressed at how wonderfully pigmented and easy to blend it was. It wears for just under ten hours with some sparkle left behind after the colour has largely faded and the sparkle doesn't migrate. A great big huzzah from me!
