Nick visits again ~ ZA Men Ultimate Moist Smoothing Cleanser and Hydrating Moisturizer review (part one, redux)

Nick visits again ~ ZA Men Ultimate Moist Smoothing Cleanser and Hydrating Moisturizer review (part one, actually)

Hello there! It's Not-Lani here. More appropriately, Nick Rowell.

Well I'm the younger brother anyway. And I'm here to do a review for ZA Men's facial cleanser and moisturiser!

Now, you may be wondering, I've been here before. To do the exact same thing. You wouldn't be wrong either! No no, I was here. Unfortunately I ended up over-committing myself, mostly to a show I was directing, which ended up taking over my life for the summer. But that's okay - hello again!

So I'll make clear again what my aims are with ZA's products here:
Whenever I shave, I often get a small amount of shaving rash on my face, no matter how much shaving cream I apply, how warm my face is beforehand, or how sharp my blades are. On top of that, I get ingrown hairs on my neck from shaving. So hopefully ZA can help out!

Prior to this I have been using Sukin facial cleanser and moisturiser, which I had no particular problems with, but rather it did not solve completely my shaving rash or ingrowns.

I have been given the full range of ZA Men's facial cleansers and moisturisers to trial, but I will be trying out Ultimate Moist first. My skin can get a bit dry
on occasion, just enough for me to notice but not enough to become flaky, so a hydrating product seems like the sensible option.

I'll check in every week or so to update how my skin responds to ZA Ultimate Moist. Just to clarify - I shave my face every three days or so, and will be cleansing and moisturising every day.

Seeya soon!

~ Nick

A note from Lani - This set was provided for review, and was a holiday set (though it is still available) with a recommended retail price of just $15 at selected pharmacies nationwide, Makeup Direct and Japan Home Mart in Albany, Auckland. The products are also available separately, although you'll save a bit of dosh picking them up in the set. There are also two other sets available to cover different skin types - Ultimate Recharge and Ultimate Matte, both of which Nick will be trialling.

  1. I'll be interested to read this on my brother's behalf, he gets some really bad irritation from shaving.
