As per yesterday's post, I'm a bit cross with MUA and am trying to work through my backlog of reviews as quickly as I can. Today I'll be showing you the highlighter which launched with the Undress Your Skin range a few years ago. Unnamed at first, it was later renamed Pink Shimmer after additional shades were added to the line up.
The packaging is simple and sleek white plastic with a clear lid and a decent amount of product is included - 7.5g
I love the raised design of whorls and spirals, it makes the product feel much more special and luxurious than the meagre £3.00 it retails for on their website.
Pink Shimmer is a shell pink with brighter pink shimmer. The texture feels thin and dry in the pan, but applies smoothly without emphasising skin texture and blends out easily. The colour pay off is even and buildable, so you can wear it in a more subtle way or keep layering for a strobe effect. My sister wore it that way for Christmas Day and the effect was absolutely beautiful. The lasting power is truly impressive, wearing for thirteen hours on me and gradually fading away.
