Here's a post that's been a long time coming! I got these Makeup Revolution lippies around this time last year but it took me a stupidly long time to reswatch them with my current lighting set up. This was my first time trying Makeup Revolution, so let's see what I thought!
Swatched on bare skin under daylight bulbs
Makeup Revolution's Amazing (and Atomic lipsticks) come in glossy black packaging with caps that match the colour inside. The packaging is very lightweight and feels a bit disjointed - the coloured caps on the ends tend to be loose, one of the lipsticks gets stuck winding up at times, the sleeve around the winding mechanism slips right off another. I wouldn't put one of these loose in my handbag because I simply wouldn't trust the lid not to pop off. The Amazing lipsticks do only retail for £1.00 so I'm obviously not expecting an ornate, hefty thing, but other brands have shown that it is possible to pull off functional, better quality packaging at a low price point (Jordana, LA Girl, Colourpop, LA Colors) so I don't think I'm entirely unjustified.
Although all of the shades I have here boast great colour pay off, formula tends to be on the slippery side so they don't all apply as evenly as I'd like. They are prone to patchiness and forming lines of demarcation, but they don't feather (this particularly impressed me with the dark shades, given the semi-glossy formula). I can't detect any scent - great for those who dislike scented cosmetics.

Depraved
Depraved is a medium lavender with a glossy finish. Colour pay off is a bit patchy and uneven but looks better from normal viewing distances. It wore for fours on me, wasn't drying and left behind a very faint stain.

Rebel With A Cause
Side note: Two of the lipsticks arrived with this funky texture on the lip bullet, like balled up chunks of lipstick. I'm not sure whether it was a manufacturing issue or something that happened in transit but it disappeared after a few uses.
Rebel With A Cause is a berry with fine shimmer that isn't really noticeable on the lips. It's mostly opaque with a buildable formula that maintains some translucency, more noticeably around my lip line. Wear time was disappointing on this shade, lasting a measly two hours! During that time it settled into fine lines, looked more like a stain than a lipstick after an hour and was very drying.

100% Vamp
100% Vamp is a dark plummy-purple. The colour pay off is lovely but the slipperiness of the formula lets application down, as you can see from the streakiness of the swatch. Layered over a lip pencil to even out the colour it would be perfect. 100% Vamp is very comfortable to wear, it was not drying during the six hours it lasted on me and didn't feather or migrate.

Black Heart
Black Heart is a deliciously vampy blackened plum. It reminds me of MAC Instigator in a glossier formula (also stuck in the limbo of the reswatch pile!). I was pleasantly surprised by the opacity of Black Heart although the slip of the formula did again, cause some streaking. Once on though, it lasted for six hours and wasn't drying. This one didn't feather or migrate either.

- Mostly good colour pay off
- Black Heart, 100% Vamp and Depraved were comfortable to wear and non drying
- None of the shades feathered or migrated
- Depraved, Black Heart and 100% Vamp lasted for four to six hours
- Several of the lipsticks had random flakey balled up bits of lipstick on the bullet when brand new
- Rebel With A Cause was very drying
- Rebel With A Cause only wore for two hours (and looked more like a stain after one hour)
- Packaging is low quality - difficult to roll up, loose parts
