Hey lovelies,
Collection Cosmetics have recently added five new shades to their Work the Colour nail polish range! These budget friendly beauties retail for just $6.39NZD at Countdown supermarkets, so they're pretty much groceries ;)
Collection nail polishes are 8ml, so a little over half your average polish size (15ml). For the most part, these shades have lovely opacity, but the brush lets them down a bit, particularly on the pastels. The bristles on the brush are very stiff so they tend to leave grooves in the polish as you are applying and it's not a very self levelling formula - Babydoll Pink suffered the most from this. Those factors combined with my rampant nail ridges means that a good base and top coat are necessary to even things out, although frankly you should be using those anyway! Otherwise, the consistency was fine, with only Lilac Daze being on the runny side.
