Hey lovelies,
Did you know that Karen Murrell Pink Starlet is the number one selling lipstick colour in New Zealand pharmacies? To celebrate, Karen Murrell's PR vey kindly sent me a tube to try out for myself so I have swatches & a review to share with you today.
Karen Murrell's lipsticks are touted as 'vegetarian lipsticks', created with natural ingredients and ecologically friendly recycled packaging. They are designed to nurture your lips, improving their condition each time you wear a Karen Murrell lipstick.
What do you think of Pink Starlet?

Pink Starlet is a medium, muted pink, designed by Karen Murrell to be a fail safe colour that will flatter anyone. I'm struggling to think of anyone this wouldn't look gorgeous on! Because Pink Starlet has KM's usual buildable colour payoff, it can be kept sheer or built up to full on opacity (as I've worn it) depending on your comfort level or preference. When I wore it, Pink Starlet was lightly hydrating and lasted for three and half hours, which I would call pretty standard for a semi-sheer formula.
A FOTD with Pink Starlet
What I liked:
- Smooth application
- Lightly hydrating
- Buildable colour pay off
- Easy on the conscience! The lipstick itself is made with natural ingredients and the packaging has been created with biodegradable materials from sustainable sources.
- Doesn't migrate or gather around lips
What I didn't like:
- No complaints here!
Where to buy:
- The Karen Murrell website
- Also available around New Zealand, Australia, China, the USA and Dubai - check the Stockists page for more info
