Australis' New Drops Will Rock Your World

I don't mind admitting that I've been a little obsessed with Australis' new Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops and Liquid Strobe Illuminating Drops lately. While similar products have been available from more expensive brands for a while, Australis have put their own spin on them and brought out their own at bargain pricing (RRP $19.99-22.99 each), plus they're cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, to boot!

The dropper dispenses the product hygienically which makes them an awesome addition to a makeup artist's kit and also provides more control over the amount of product dispensed, something that isn't always the case with pumps. With all of these drops, a little goes a long way, so drop a little on a makeup mixing palette (I picked this one up on Ebay) or the back of your hand and get to mixing!

You can see here how thin and easy to spread the Liquid Strobe Illuminating Drops are, while the Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops retain the same viscosity as your average foundation.  Being on the pale end of the foundation spectrum, I can't remember the last time I've had to darken a foundation so I haven't tested the Darkening Drops as extensively but they work just as well as the Lightening Drops. The Lightening Drops on the other hand, have been in heavy use since they arrived! I have a Clinique foundation that I love but is just a smidge too dark - booo! Once I add a drop of the Lightening Drops though, it's perfect. I haven't found that it alters the formulation any; it's just as long-lasting as ever and has the same coverage and finish.

The Liquid Strobe Illuminating Drops need a closer look because they are STUNNING. They're also very versatile, you're really only limited by your imagination with these. Mix with foundation, moisturiser, body cream or BB cream for a lit from within look, or apply directly to skin for a buildable, flattering glow. I tried them with a blender sponge and with my fingers and found they applied well both ways. I was also impressed that they didn't displace my foundation, ball up or streak - SO easy. A little goes a long way and they lasted all day (10+ hours) on me.

I'm so stoked to have these in my collection, they've certainly had a lot of use so far! I like both the Liquid Strobe Illuminating Drops but Pink is definitely my favourite. What about you?
