ColourPop's cheek products have been in heavy rotation around here lately (with a special nod to Flexitarian). Their stellar colour payoff and longevity, not to mention the wallet-friendly price of $8USD a pop, makes them all too easy to love. Four of my recent acquisitions are swatched and reviewed for your viewing pleasure today.
Formula overview:
The Super Shock Cheek blushes and highlighters share the same wet clay texture as ColourPop's Super Shock Shadows. Because of this consistency, it's important to keep the jars tightly closed when not in use to prevent them from drying out.
ColourPop recommend applying their Super Shock Cheek products with fingers for fuller coverage, or with a flat synthetic shader brush or duo fibre brush for a sheerer finish. I like using ELF's duo fibre stipple brush for a really airbrushed effect with the blushes and it works well for the highlighters too, but if you're craving maximum shine, try a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge or Beauty Blender. So. Much. Glow.

Flexitarian
Flexitarian is described as an 'intense white champagne'. Intense is right, this is the highlighter you pick if you want people to see your highlight from space! It's insanely, spectacularly glowy; needless to say, this is not one for people who prefer their highlighter to be understated. A solid wear time of eleven hours has further cemented Flexitarian's place in my makeup bag, it looks a little faded after nine hours but all in all, holds up well.
Bardot is described as a 'rusty red copper'. I must admit that when I pulled Bardot out of the box for the first time and saw just how dark it is in the pan, I was wondering what the heck I'd been thinking when I ordered it. Once applied, though, it's actually very wearable, I really had nothing to worry about! The formula is excellent, both in application and longevity, clocking twelve hours wear on me. I highly recommend giving Bardot a chance if you've been on the fence.

Perilune
Perilune is described as a 'sheer opalescent pearl with green and gold glitter'. Unlike most of ColourPop's highlighters, Perilune has more glitter to it than base colour and offers more sparkle than glow. The blendability and lasting power are true to form, though, it lasted nine hours on me. It isn't going to be for everyone but I think it's such a fun shade and more wearable than you might expect.

Pegacorn
Pegacorn (discontinued) is described as a 'deep violet' and has a Satin finish. It's a medium fuchsia pink with fine pink shimmer. I stumbled across this baby at a bargain price on Trade Me and was thrilled to add it to my collection. You know me and my discontinued/limited edition goody hoarding! Although Pegacorn looks incredibly (and potentially intimidatingly) bright in the jar, it applies and blends superbly to give you a natural flush, as though you've just been outside on a cold winter's day. It wore for ten hours in total on me but was very faded after seven.
