Hey lovelies,
It's been a while since I've done a proper mani - pretty much since we moved house, actually. My nails all broke post move and haven't really recovered fully! Poor nails :(
Still, I managed to file them straight enough to look halfway presentable the other day and decided to celebrate with some bling. Aaaand I may have gotten carried away...

I started by applying Mika G07 Kyanite, a lilac tinged grey crelly with pink, purple and white matte glitter dispersed through it. Such a beautiful polish, it's a shame it took four coats (and still wasn't quite opaque, I'll have to find some undies for it).
Then I started adding crystals - at first just a few to the tops of each nail, but it didn't look great and I was ready to declare it a failure. Like I said though, it'd been so long since I'd done a mani that I was reluctant to start again or give up, so I decided to just push ahead and keep adding gems to my index nail to see how gem encrusted I could get it (for the LOLs)!
Initially I didn't love this manicure, but it really grew on me and only came off today. What do you think? Would you wear this blinged out mani?
The multichrome/AB gems were kindly provided for review by Born Pretty Store. They come in a wheel including four different sizes so you can get a really varied look. I found them to be easy to work with, well made and of course, very very sparkly! The largest crystal didn't sit entirely flat on my rather curved nail bed but the rest were absolutely fine, if your nail beds are flatter or placement is different it won't be an issue. That being said, it didn't bother me amongst the rest of the sparkle!
If you like the look of these crystal, you can pick them up at Born Pretty Store here for $2.68USD and free shipping. Don't forget to use my code LR10K31 to get 10% off your order. Score!

Wow! That's pretty indeed. I love how you continued on and came up with a full-on blinged out accent nail, which really pulls off the whole manicure. :D
