Mother's Day 2015 Gift Guide

Purchased by me/Provided for review/Contains affiliate links

Hey lovelies,

Mother's Day is fast approaching and I wanted to share a few gift suggestions for those in need of some inspiration (*coughs* like my husband, heehee).

Mother's Day 2015 Gift Guide

1. Lancome Premier Collection, $101.00 at Fresh Fragrances & Cosmetics
Containing six mini perfumes from the many brands under Lancome's umbrella, I picked this because Cacharel Anais Anais is my mum's favourite fragrance. She's had a bottle in her bathroom cabinet for as long as I can remember and I recall rolling the bottle between my palms as a kid, studying the floral design. I'll always associate Anais Anais with her and I think this set would be a great way of gifting her an old favourite as well as a selection of new things to try. Does your mum have a favourite perfume?

2. Star Kin Cuti-Cuddles, $4.50 at Star Kin by Everysensory (but keep an eye out for new potential stockists!)
A great cuticle oil is a must for anyone who likes to keep their hands and nails in good condition and Star Kin Cuti-Cuddles is my favourite of all time. My favourite scents are Caramel Popcorn, Lemon Meringue and White Chocolate Macadamia - the last is unfortunately not currently listed but there are a heap more to choose from and you could potentially message Ami through Etsy or her Facebook page to ask about White Choc Macadamia.

3. Shea Classic Picks set, $69.00 at The Body Shop
I don't think many mums would say no to one of The Body Shop's classic body butters and I know my mother in law is certainly a fan. This gorgeous set contains a shower cream, mini body scrubs and body butters, a soap and a sponge. Dry skin won't know what hit it!

4. ZA Vibrant Moist Lipstick, $18.00 from ZA Cosmetics - list of stockists here
Whether your mum is a diehard bold lipstick lover (in which case, we should totally hang) or is wanting something that's easy to slick on and go, ZA's Vibrant Moist lipstick line has her covered. There are fifteen shades available in varying undertones to flatter a variety of skintones and the formula is smooth and lightly hydrating. My favourites are PK444, RD444, RS444 and PK212s. 5. Ecoya Mini Metro Gift Set, $37.70 at Recreate Yourself
Ecoya really know their stuff when it comes to candles and this mini set contains three of their most popular scents - French Pear, Sweet Pea & Jasmine and Lotus Flower. I'm rather partial to their Vanilla Bean candle myself but these have all smelled just as divine when I've sniffed them in store!

6. Mum Gift, $62.00 at LUSH NZ
This is a gift I know my mum and I would be fighting over! It contains Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and the matching Yummy Mummy Body Conditioner, both of which I reviewed in this LUSH Mother's Day preview post. Also hiding away in this value packed box are Honey I Washed The Kids Soap (my mum's favourite - she requests it every birthday, Mother's Day and Christmas!), The Comforter Bubble Bar, Blackberry Bath Bomb and Vanilla Delite Body Lotion. If you're shopping online, LUSH recommend that you place your order by the 3rd of May to ensure it reaches you in time.

7. Moisture Mist Mother's Day Set, $39.00 from Moisture Mist - list of stockists here
Moisture Mist's most popular foundation, Beauty Cake, is the star of this gift set! I know this is a go to foundation for many New Zealand women so if your mum is a fan she'll surely appreciate this. It's a great price too, as the Beauty Cake retails for $35.00 on its own and here it is paired with a blender sponge and two ZA skincare minis.

What are you getting your mum for Mother's Day? Have you made any special plans?
