Hey lovelies,

I was the lucky winner of a pay it forward giveaway in a US MAC Facebook group I'm a member of recently and one of the prizes was this pretty Milani blush. I've had my eye on Milani's blushes for a while now so I was super excited to try this!

Warm Petals is packaged in a fairly solid feeling plastic case with a clear lid and rather glamorous looking gold trim. You get a whopping 17g  (0.60 OZ) of product so you're getting a lot of bang for your buck.

This blush is sculpted into a blooming rose. I know it's gimmicky but I just love things like this! The texture isn't impeded at all by the shape - Milani describes their blush formula is 'ultra silky-soft' and that is entirely apt.

Warm Petals is a warm tan shade flecked with gold shimmer. The formula is soft, pigmented and ultra blendable albeit a tiny bit powdery. The gold shimmer doesn't really translate to cheeks (below I have layered Too Faced Candlelight Glow over it on my cheekbones, which is the strong golden sheen) and the blush appears as more of a matte tawny rose, rather than tan when applied. Warm Petals lasted for 8 hours before starting to fade.
