Do you remember when L'Oreal first started bringing out exclusive lipstick shades with their celebrity spokeswomen? I don't know exactly how far back it goes but I definitely remember swatching them on the back of my hand admiringly in a pharmacy my friend worked in back when we were in high school, circa 2005 (!!). Eva Longoria has been a representative for the brand all that time which refreshing in a rather mercurial industry. L'Oreal were kind enough to send me some of their current range to try out a while back, so here they are!
The Color Riche lipsticks have a gorgeous, cushiony feeling, gliding across the lips with just the right amount of slip. These are quite heavily scented although I find it hard to pinpoint the fragrance beyond floral and powdery. It's not unpleasant to my nose but it's not my favourite either and if you dislike scented cosmetics you'll probably want to take a whiff before buying. These are very comfortable on the lips, most of them were hydrating too.

Doutzen's Nude
Doutzen's Nude is a pale pink with fine pearly shimmer. It's very sheer and on the uneven side, although it doesn't look quite so bad in photos - overall though, I wasn't a fan, sorry Doutzen! It did wear well, lasting five hours on me, during which it was hydrating.
J Lo's Nude
J Lo's Nude is a slightly cool toned nude pink - L'Oreal call it 'greige glow'. The greige tones mute my natural lip colour somewhat and the colour payoff is mostly even. It lasted for four hours on me and was hydrating.
Eva's Nude
Eva's Nude is a peach-tinted nude with silver pearl. This was my favourite of the nudes, the hint of peach flatters me and the colour payoff is nice and even. It lasted four hours on me.
Julianne's Nude
Julianne's Nude is a warm pinky-nude with fine shimmer. Another one I really liked! The colour payoff is mostly even and it lasted for four hours on me, during which it was both comfortable and hydrating.
Eva's Red
Eva's Red is a warm red with a semi-matte finish. Now this is what I'm talking about! Not that there's anything wrong with the nudes cause you know I love them too but red just makes me feel all kinds of fabulous. Eva's Pure Red applies super smoothly with a slight sheen; it's not a flat matte. It wears for a bit under six hours on me without feathering or drying out my lips.
