It's time to review another Lust Have It Beauty Box! The March box was pretty nice on the whole and pretty evenly weighted with a good mixture of cosmetic and skincare items.
In my March box I found...
- Be A Bombshell Mechanical Eyeliner RRP $20AUD | Full size
- Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash RRP $14.95AUD for full size | Deluxe sample
- Glazel Visage Single Matte Eyeshadow RRP $15AUD | Full size
- Jersey Shore Cosmetics Anti Aging Whole Body Balm RRP $20AUD | Full size
- Ruby Eye Liner Slanted Brush RRP $22.40AUD | Full size | 4 brush options
- $35 Hello Fresh voucher
Hello Fresh is a food delivery service that sends you recipes and everything you need to create them. Unfortunately it's only in Australia so it was no good to me, and none of my Australian friends fell within their delivery areas, so I couldn't give it away either. Rather a shame, it sounds like a cool service!
The first of the two makeup items in the March box is this matte eyeshadow from Glazel Visage, a brand I'd not heard of before. I received a pretty warm purple, S40, and was impressed with the smooth, pigmented and easy to work with matte formula. I'm wearing it on the inner half of my crease in the look above.
This Jersey Shore Spa Anti-Aging Whole Body Balm has a rather long winded name, but this wee lip balm sized tube packs quite a punch. I've been using it as a cuticle balm and on dry skin around my lips and love how moisturising it is. It doesn't break me out and the lip balm format is easy to use for small, targeted areas, although I'm not sure about the 'whole body' thing - I don't think I'd want to be rubbing it on heels if I'd been using it near my mouth or eyes and so forth. But maybe that's just me.
This Ruby Slanted Eyeliner Brush arrived at the perfect time for my mini foiling-eyeshadows-as-eyeliner spree (which I need to do more of when I wash the mounting pile of angled brushes!). I'm pretty rubbish at using an angled brush for eyeliner, to be honest, but I found Ruby's brush pretty easy. The bristles are soft, synthetic and are packed densely, so that the brush is firm (but not stiff) and free of stray bristles. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this!
And the last item in the March '16 box is a deluxe sample of Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash. I've actually got a full sized bottle of this in my shower at the moment and I really like it! It's a lovely face wash that cleanses very effectively without leaving your skin feeling dry or tight, and it smells nice too, although the scent is difficult to describe.
