Onto another Lust Have It Beauty Box! The April box was a huge hit with me, I liked most of the products and the only one I didn't was simply because the colour wasn't right for me. Let's take a look at what I received:
- Manna Kadar Fantasy 3-in-1 Blush Highlighter Eyeshadow RRP $25AUD | Full size
- Marsk Certified Organic Eyeliner RRP $28.95AUD | Full size
- Personail Nail Polish Wraps RRP $18AUD | Full size
- Marsk Certified Organic Browliner RRP $28.95AUD | Full size
- Soak Hair Shine Shampoo & Hair Revive Conditioner RRP $24.95 for full size | Deluxe samples
Some subscribers received Apelles Blackseed Shampoo and Tamanu Conditioner instead.
This Mannakadar 3-in-1 highlighter, eyeshadow and blush is a bit of a genius idea, although I'm not really sure about the blush aspect - it's too shimmery and pale for that purpose, in my opinion. Your mileage may vary, though! It comes in one shade, Fantasy, which is a warm nude peach - I'd love to see an option available for cool skintones, too. The colour pay off is great and it's very easy to apply and blend.
This Marsk eyeliner in Snowflake is a pretty lightly shimmered white which makes a nice inner corner highlight. I tried to use it on the lower lashline too which was a no go - it just doesn't have the pigmentation to show up very well, although it is even in its colour pay off, so inner corner it is!
Although comically wrong for me, this Brow Liner in the shade Audrey is nice enough, with great pigmentation. It's also great to see a shade more suited for those with red or auburn hair, as suitably coloured brow pencils can be hard to find.
SOAK isn't a brand I'd heard of before, but I really liked the Hair Shine Shampoo and Hair Revive Conditioner. It washed my hair perfectly, leaving it soft and shiny without buildup. I'd definitely consider repurchasing, but flatrate shipping to New Zealand is $30AUD so I feel like I'd have to buy a lot to make it worth my while. There aren't currently any New Zealand stockists listed on their stockist page.
The final item in the April box was these nail polish strips by Personail. The design I received is a psychedelic mix of rainbow swirls, brightly coloured mushrooms, geometric shapes, fried eggs and oozing ice cream-like drips. The design is aptly named 'High AF' and was a limited edition collaboration with Zeke's Lunchbox. I wore these strips for about a week and was impressed with how well they held up on the whole. I did notice some small bubbling after a few days, but I'm pretty noob at nail polish strips so I'm not sure if that was a result of user error or just something that happens after a while. The strips were easy to work with and there was no damage to my nail when I was ready to remove them, they just peeled right off. I'd definitely consider buying more of these.
