Hello my loves!
Susan has since mentioned wanting to revamp her Kisu Liquid Lip Color line to be more similar to these lipsticks, so who knows, perhaps one day we'll see the return of Lullaby and Pink Martini in the permanent range. For now they are unfortunately sold out, so this post is a mixture of my compulsion to swatch all the things and hope that someone might need to see swatches while stumbling across one of these treasures in a blog sale one day.
Swatched on bare skin under daylight bulbs: Lullaby, Pink Martini
These liquid lipsticks come in the same packaging as the Pucker Paints, a long thin tube with a slim doefoot applicator. The formula is smooth and emollient with no tackiness and offers opaque colour pay off in a single swipe. It's very easy to control too, not too thick or thin - the lip swatches below were applied neat from the tube (I will often make use of a lip brush for a clean outline). To me, they smell like a cross between banana lollies and a marshmallow flavoured Lip Smackers I had in the early noughties (in a good way, I promise!). The Kisu Liquid Lipcolors feel a bit thicker and more mousse like in comparison although they share the same scent.
Lullaby
Lullaby is a light pinky nude with fabulous colour pay off. I'm kind of obsessed with this one, there are so many lipsticks I need to swatch and test at the moment, and yet I've already worn Lullaby three times. Not even sorry, it's just awesome, I really hope this makes it to the permanent line one day. Lullaby lasts for four hours on me, fades evenly as it wears away and isn't drying.

Pink Martini
Pink Martini is a bright Barbie pink with super strong colour payoff. Like Lullaby, it wore for four hours with even fading and no drying, but I had trouble with feathering with this shade. If you're as prone to feathering as I am, I'd definitely recommend pairing it with a lipliner. Pink Martini left behind a strong pink stain. I completely adore the colour so will have to experiment with some of my pink lipliners, or an invisible liner.
What I liked:
- Amazing colour pay off
- Non drying
- Banana/marshmallow scent
- Four hour weartime
- Both shades fade evenly
- Lullaby doesn't feather.
- Pink Martini feathers
