Hey lovelies,
I have a whopper of a post for you today - the Femme Fatale June presale polish collection! This collection is inspired by autumn and winter scenery and the White Witch from the Chronicles of Narnia. I adored the Narnia books when I was young and swatching this collection gave me a powerful longing to re-read them asap!
Apologies for the photo heavy post; I contemplated splitting this into two posts but my fellow Femme Fatale fangirls assured me they'd prefer to see everything in one hit. Culling photos is not my strong point as you may have guessed!
Pretty bottles all in rows! This collection features some warmer shades than we've seen in recent Femme Fatale releases which is quite refreshing (not that cool shades are a bad thing!). These shades have varying prices, I am assuming due to the cost of some of the ingredients - there's a whole lot of spectacular in these bottles! - so I will list the individual prices with each shade.

Secret of Secrets
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - The Secret of Secrets, 3 coats
The Secret of Secrets ($9.00AUD) is an antique bronze to green/gold shimmer with rainbow multichrome flakies. There's an awesome pink flash in there too. The Secret of Secrets is a bit sheer so I think I may layer it next time, although the visible nail line you can glimpse in these shots was not nearly as visible in real life. This feels like a steampunk polish, it's incredibly cool on. The flakies lie flat against the nail and there's minimal texture going on.

Her Imperial Majesty
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Her Imperial Majesty, 3 coats
Her Imperial Majesty ($8.50AUD) is a polish you really have to see in person - it has this phenomenal lit from within quality thanks to all that magenta shimmer which doesn't translate as well as I'd like in photos. It builds up nicely in three coats and dries with very minimal texture.

The First Northern Witch
Femme Fatale - The First Northern Witch, 3 coats
+
Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat
The First Northern Witch ($9.00AUD) is one of my favourites from this collection! I just love the contrast of the gold flecks against the dusty, cool grey base. There's also a very subtle pretty orange sheen in the mix that I couldn't get my camera to pick up, but Sophie has a beautiful swatch showing it in Femme Fatale Fiends (you should join!). It dries with a small amount of texture so I added a layer of topcoat.

Hundred Years Winter
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Hundred Years Winter, 2 coats
Hundred Years Winter ($8.50AUD) is an interesting polish, sometimes it looks distinctly purple-taupe, other times the turquoise shimmer dominates. I wore this for a few days and liked it more the longer I looked at it! Formula was great, two smooth coats.

Heart's Desire
Femme Fatale - Heart's Desires, 3 coats
Heart's Desires ($9.50AUD) is a dusty coral pink flecked with copper microflakies and larger flakies that shift from gold to green to blue. It's another of the sheerer shades but was mostly opaque in three coats. I don't own anything like this, it's such a unique shade.

Lion's Breath
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Lion's Breath, 3 coats
+
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Topcoat
Lion's Breath ($9.00AUD) is a thermal polish which shifts from a warm brown jelly in its cold state to a near translucent antique gold when warm. It's filled with gold shimmer and holo glitter. The colour change is super sensitive, it was a very cold night when I swatched this so I had to keep dunking my nails in hot water to snap it in time - sorry about the wet hands! Lion's Breath needs a bit of care to apply evenly so that it's not streaky in its warm state, waiting a few minutes between coats should do the trick.

Lantern Waste
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Lantern Waste, 3 coats
+
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Topcoat
Lantern Waste ($10.00AUD) is another favourite in this collection. Sophie's gift for marrying gorgeous shimmers and larger details like flakies and glitter without turning a polish into a clumpy mess is virtually unparalleled. I love this, the fuchsia-violet shimmer in the slate grey base looks like magma emerging from between volcanic rock formations. Lantern Waste is slightly sheer but builds up smoothly in three coats. Visible nail line wasn't apparent in real life and top coat was added to show the glow of the shimmer better.

Moonlight Statues
Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Moonlight Statues, 2 coats
+
Glisten & Glow HK Girl Topcoat
Moonlight Statues ($8.50AUD) is, you guessed it, another favourite :) It has a warm purple base with cool blue shimmer, a walking contradiction of a polish! Lots of holo glitter makes it super sparkly and fun to wear too. I used two coats here which looked great in real life but as you can see, I really should have added a third for the photos. Whoops! If you're a purple lover, you absolutely need this one.
