Hey lovelies,
I'm on a polish swatch roll! Today I have some swatches from Nicole by OPI, which was recently relaunched in New Zealand. Previously a small selection of the range could be found in selected Farmers and pharmacies; now it is available in many Countdown supermarkets nationwide! This is great news for those of us who like to sneak a wee treat in with the groceries *ahem* *looks innocent* and you can often pick them up on special and even earn bonus Onecard points!
I posted a preview of these polishes on my Facebook page a while back showing all three shades in action. Don't they look pretty together?
And now, onto the individual swatches!

Do Good... Feel Good
Nicole by OPI - Do Good... Feel Good, 4 coats
Do Good... Feel Good is a beautiful nude pink crelly. I love the look of this on, but I had trouble getting it to apply evenly as it is not at all forgiving of my nail ridges, and it wanted to pull and create bald spots. It performed best when I waited a while between coats and 'floated' each thin coat on. Over a good ridge filler, I think it would be a lot easier to work with.

Nicole by OPI - Playin' Hooky, 3 coats
Playin' Hooky is a classic bright pink creme. It's easily opaque in 2-3 coats and gave me no trouble at all. Everyone needs at least one pink creme like this in their collection (or five, if you're as unrestrained as me)!

I Lilac Gumdrops
Nicole by OPI - I Lilac Gumdrops, 3 coats
The final shade, I Lilac Gumdrops, comes from the Gumdrops range of sparkly textured polishes. I Lilac Gumdrops is one of the more complex textures in my collection, with a slight pink iridescence in the shimmery lilac base and flecks of larger silver. The textured finish is noticeable, but not as gritty or rough as other brands, so if textured polish isn't usually your bag, you may still enjoy this!
