How are you doing today? I'm pleased to be slogging my way through my bursting-at-the-seams draft folder :) Today's post is a review of JPK004 from Etude House's Sweet Recipe My Dear Jelly Lips Talk line (try saying that five times fast!).
I love, love, love the packaging of these lipsticks.
The lipstick itself comes in a glossy white tube with faint shimmer. I love the design of it, it's so unique and girly!
Look at the pretty heart! So much attention to detail.
There are 8 shades in the Dear My Jelly Lips Talk range and they're easy enough to find on Ebay and e-tailers of Korean cosmetics. All the shades look to be sheer, glossy hints of colour so if you're after those kinds of shades these could be a great pick.
What I liked:
- Smooth, moisturising formula
- Cute packaging
- Great price (around $10NZD with free shipping on Ebay - I paid $5.95USD + shipping from Roseroseshop a few months back).
What I didn't like:
- Settles into lip lines
- It took a few passes to even out the lip colour
- Smells exactly like banana lollies
I don't hate it, I'm just not a huge fan of banana lollies. This might be a selling point for you ;) But if all of the Sweet Recipe lipsticks smell like this, I'm not sure I'll be buying any more.
