Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes review

First up are these Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes, which is a long winded name for makeup wipes if ever there was one! I don't get along with many brands of makeup wipes as often they sting my eyes or make my skin feel dry however I really liked these! They're not too strongly scented, they have a soft, non-abrasive texture and they remove my makeup very effectively. If my longtime favourite brand of wipes weren't more cost effective than any other brand I've come across I'd definitely consider switching to these.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub review

This is a scrub I've tried before and while I really enjoyed it, it's not one I'll use again as the scrub texture comes from polyethylene beads. These beads can pose a real danger to marine life and there are plenty of natural alternatives such as jojoba wax spheres, like in the Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant. It's a personal choice, of course, and if Neutrogena changed the beads for something else I'd definitely be open to trying it again.

Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum review

Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum review

I'm fortunate that wrinkle repair isn't currently high on my list of skin concerns so this Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum isn't really suited for me. My mother in law however, loves it - I gave her my first tube of this some months ago, as this is a repeat product from the July 2015 Lust Have It box. Worth checking out if you have mature skin.

ETC Eye Liner Pen - Grey Blue review

ETC Eye Liner Pen - Grey Blue review

ETC Eye Liner Pen - Grey Blue review

Now we come to the only colour cosmetic item in this month's box, an eyeliner by new to me brand ETC (that's Edgy Tempting Cosmetics). I'm not really sure why it's called an eye liner pen since it's a pencil in every sense of the word, but moving on... I received the shade 'Grey Blue' which is exactly what it sounds like. It swatches okay on my arm (that's a single pass on the left and a few swipes built up on the right) but on the lid it was a totally different story. It was sheer, it dragged across my skin, barely imparting any colour and basically fought me every step of the way. Do not recommend.

Sasy N Savvy Peppermint & Rosemary Bath N Shower Gel review

Rounding out the June '16 box is this Sasy N Savy shower gel, fragranced with peppermint & rosemary. As you might expect, the peppermint dominates here, but the rosemary adds a subtle earthiness to the overall scent. If you enjoy really fresh scents, you'll love this for your morning shower.
