Bobbi Brown recently introduced a new mascara to their ranks and it's appropriately named Eye Opening Mascara (RRP $57NZD). We all know mascara is great for making your eyes look more open but the massive brush on this baby will have you opening them extra wide just to maneuver it around your lashes.
Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. Once you get used to the brush size you'll find it's a 'no lash left behind' kind of deal: Eye Opening Mascara is great for getting right in the roots and grabbing every lash. Plus, it's very good at lifting your lashes, even my stubborn, straight short lashes found themselves coaxed up and out, with the curl lasting all day.
I'm also loving how intensely black this mascara is; combined with the curling effect, I've been reaching for it often lately. I notice a very small amount of flaking after around eleven hours wear, but it's something I can tolerate. There's no smudging or running, which is far more of a deal breaker for me.
