Notoriously Morbid Numerology Blush and Giant Contour Powder Swatches & Review

Recently I've been trying out more and more from Notoriously Morbid's burgeoning cheek product range and I really like what I've tried to date! I always opt for the minis which are generously sized and priced very well at $4USD. Loose powder cheek products can be intimidating to start with, but Notoriously Morbid have matched excellent colour pay off with blendability perfectly, the formulas are very easy to work with.

There are a couple of different sizes that you can get: samples ($1.25USD) contain 1/4 tsp of product in a sample bag, the mini size (pictured, $4.00USD) is a 10g jar with roughly 1.5 to 2 tsp of product and the full size ($8.50USD) is a 20g jar with roughly 4 to 4.5 grams of product. The sifter in the mini jars means that you're not faced with an overwhelming amount of product as soon as you open the jar, although you can always start your application with the residue in the lid to guarantee a light hand.

Each product is swatched heavily on the left and sheered out on the right. I take all of my photos with daylight bulbs for colour accuracy.

Numerology is described as a 'warm coral/orange with sparkle and a mystically purple shift'. It's wonderfully shimmery, but doesn't look over the top on cheeks - more like a highlighting blush than a disco ball. It wore strongly for five hours, after which it looked a bit more muted, although it still hung on for another four hours, totalling nine hours wear.

Giant is described as 'the perfect cool-toned shade of brown... perfect for light to fair skin tones.' It's a nice contouring option for my pale, warm toned skin (I wear NC15 in MAC and Ivory Nude in Estee Lauder, for reference), blends out nicely and wears for the better part of ten hours, looking pretty faded after that point.

I've used Numerology and Giant here with MAC Otherearthly Mineralize Skinfinish to highlight.
