Purchased by me
ColourPop may keep pumping out new and awesome lip products, but I think my favourite thing they make will always be the Lippie Stix! They smell amazing, they're brilliantly pigmented and the colour range is broad, on trend and ever changing. Earlier in the year I jumped in an order with the lovely Christel from Makeupper and picked up five Lippie Stix along with my first Ultra Satin Lip and some more Super Shock Shadows. You can check out Christel's Lippie Stix haul here.
The Lippie Stix have a gorgeous chocolate chip cookie scent - it smells just like the Rainbowlicious Chocolate Chip scrub to my nose, which means I'm basically in heaven every time I pop the cap off one of these. SO good.
There's a mixture of mattes and satins here and I've found the texture and application to be great with both formulas. All of them have a very subtle tackiness and a smooth, slightly creamy texture. The mattes seemed to be a little firmer on the lips, but they didn't drag or tug in any way, the satins had a bit more slip. They are all pretty forgiving of flaws, good news for those who struggle to keep pesky lip flakes away!

Oh Snap
Contempo
Grunge
Jujurouge
Poison
Posion is a 'deep brown red' in a Matte finish. This is a really pretty red, the brick tones set it apart from the myriad of blue toned reds in my collection, so it's totally okay that I have a million reds. Right? Okay. Poison hung around for a very respectable six hours without feathering or drying out my lips.
- All of the Lippie Stix have incredible colour pay off
- Most shades weren't drying
- All but Jujurouge wore well without feathering
- Wear time was between four and six hours
- Grunge was slightly drying
- Jujurouge feathered slightly
- Oh Snap felt clingy towards the end of wear
