Kia Ora! I have another quartet of Notoriously Morbid cheek products to share with you today: two highlighters and two blushes. All four of these are going to be discontinued shortly alongside the rest of the Alpha & Omega collection (sob!)
There are two different sizes that you can get: the mini size (pictured, $4.00USD) is a 10g jar with roughly 1.5 to 2 tsp of product and the full size ($8.50USD) is a 20g jar with roughly 4 to 4.5 grams of product. The sifter in the mini jars means that you're not faced with an overwhelming amount of product as soon as you open the jar, although you can always start your application with the residue in the lid to guarantee a light hand.
Each product is swatched heavily on the left and sheered out on the right. I take all of my photos with daylight bulbs for colour accuracy.
Formula overview:
All of Notoriously Morbid's blushes and highlighters have excellent colour pay off and a highly blendable texture that is very flattering on the skin. They don't emphasise skin texture or go blotchy during blending and can be sheered out or built up to your desired intensity very easily. I average seven hours wear with this formula.

Music
Music is described as 'a warm-toned coral blush in a matte finish'. It was hard to pick a favourite look with this blush to show you below as I love it so much, it's been in heavy rotation among my NM blushes! Music is a more brown-based coral than many others in my collection, which gives it a lovely earthy vibe. I really like the way it contrasts with Autumn Moon highlighter in the look below. As I've come to expect from Notoriously Morbid's blushes, the formula is silky, pigmented and highly blendable. Music lasted for ten hours on me.
Here I'm wearing Music blush, Autumn Moon highlighter and the Essence Shape Your Face Contour Kit.
Anywhere
Anywhere is described as 'a cool-toned plum blush with red and purple shimmer'. It lingered on my wishlist for ages as I thought it would be far too cool-toned for me to pull off but I actually think it works quite well on my skin tone. The red and purple shimmer combined with the plum base pull berry overall on me and the shimmer is noticeable but not overwhelming. Anywhere lasted eleven hours on me.
I'm wearing I Thought I'd Seen A Ghost highlighter and Anywhere blush in these photos.
Angel
Angel is described as 'a pink-toned highlighter with golden shimmer'. I'm going to be so sorry to see Angel go from the site, it's my favourite of Notoriously Morbid's permanent highlighters! The pink sheen comes through strongly on the cheeks, giving a very pretty effect. It lasts nine hours on me.
I'm wearing Tempestuous blush with Angel highlighter here.
Echo
Echo is described as a 'peach-toned highlighter with golden shimmer'. Despite the yellow tones in the jar and golden shimmer, Echo seems to pull quite cool-toned on me - not in an unflattering way, but I don't see any peach to it at all. The formula is great as usual, applying and blending easily, though I suspect the white base might cause a cast on darker skin tones. It lasted an amazing twelve hours on me!
I'm wearing Echo highlighter, Music blush and the Makeup Revolution contour palette here.
What I liked:
- Excellent colour pay off
- Nine-twelve hours wear
- Easy to blend out
- Nothing!
