Colourpop Lippie Stix - Crunch, Topanga, Toucan Swatches & Review

I'm a huge fan of ColourPop's Lippie Stix formula and of course, price, which means I've hoarded a bunch of them and now have a big backlog of reviews to get through! I was obviously in a super coral mood when I ordered these three :D

Crunch, Topanga and Toucan swatched on bare skin under daylight bulbs

The packaging for the Lippie Stix is a glossy white twist up slim tube with a slanted lip bullet. I really like the smaller surface area of this lipstick style as it allows a more precision than your traditional larger teardrop shaped bullet. Each lipstick has a coloured end cap which matches the colour inside as well as a label with the name and finish (eg satin, matte, glossy).
The Lippie Stix have a gorgeous chocolate chip cookie scent - it smells just like the Rainbowlicious Chocolate Chip scrub to my nose, which means I'm basically in heaven every time I pop the cap off one of these. SO good.
There's a mixture of sheers, mattes and satins here and I've found the texture and application to be great across all formulas. All of them have a very subtle tackiness and a smooth, slightly creamy texture. The mattes seemed to be a little firmer on the lips, but they didn't drag or tug in any way, the satins and sheers had a bit more slip. They are all pretty forgiving of flaws, good news for those who struggle to keep pesky lip flakes away!

Crunch

Crunch is a 'peachy coral in a Sheer finish'. This is my first taste of ColourPop's Sheer Lippie Stix and I quite like it; it packs enough pigment to give a pretty pop of colour but the semi opaque colour coverage keeps it muted and wearable for every occasion. Crunch wears for just under three hours on me without being drying.

Topanga

Topanga is 'a mid-tone dusty coral in a Satin finish'. Honestly, you guys know of my affinity for corals but even I did not expect to completely adore this as much as I do! Topanga is super opaque, applies smoothly and wears for five hours with light staining. It's also minimally drying.

Toucan

Toucan is a 'bright pinky red coral in a Matte finish'. This super saturated powerhouse of a coral is closer to a MAC Retro Matte in texture than most of Colourpop's matte lipsticks and as such it's a little less creamy, but no more difficult to apply. It wears for six hours on me, stains and isn't drying. Hnnngh. I love Toucan so much!

What I liked:

• Excellent colour pay off
• Wears between three and six hours
• Crunch and Toucan weren't drying
• Smooth, forgiving application

What I didn't like:

• Topanga was lightly drying
