Hey lovelies,
Today I have some pretty and rather bargainous bronzers to show you! I believe these L'Oreal bronzers have been discontinued or repackaged, so these can be found on NZSale, Snatchadeal and other places that stock end of line stuff. I have two to show you, first up is the Sun Radiance Trio.
These bronzers are quite cleverly packaged, with a little brush hidden away in a compartment under the bronzer itself. The brush feels soft, not scratchy and works well enough, though I prefer an angled blush brush for application. It's a very handy wee brush to have tucked away for on the go application however. There's also a mirror!
Each shade swatched individually and mixed all together
Sun Radiance Trio is a collection of shimmery shades in bronze, beige and peach. This bronzer does hint at those dreaded orange undertones so I do have to use a light hand with it. Fortunately it's very easy to apply and blend with good colour pay off that is buildable, which means you won't overdo it if you're careful (or deeper in complexion than I am). The Sun Radiance Trio is a multi-tasker too as it's possible to use the beige and peach shades as highlighter and blush respectively. I've worn both those shades mixed as a blush and highlighter and it was just the right amount of sunkissed glow.

Blonde Harmony
Each shade swatched individually and mixed
Blonde Harmony contains two satin shades which have medium, buildable colour pay off. I really love this bronzer, because the lighter shade is perfect for my complexion. The buildable colour pay off is very forgiving because I can use it to lightly contour without stepping into oompa loompa territory! Definitely worth tracking this one down if you have pale girl fear of bronzer like I did!
The one downside to Blonde Harmony, for me, is the fake tan scent it has. It disappears once applied and it's not terribly unpleasant, it just seems like an odd touch to me. But maybe there are people out there who really like the smell of fake tan, so it might be an upside to them!
What I liked:
- Even and buildable colour pay off
- Easy to blend
- Well thought out, convenient and sturdy packaging.
- Blonde Harmony is well suited for paler complexions
- The Sun Radiance Trio has orange undertones
- The Blonde Harmony duo has a fake tanner scent (this may be a plus for some?)
- I found quite a few of places (mostly in the UK, like Superdrug and Asda) that stock these bronzers but none that I have personally used. Have a look on Google and buy from a website you trust if you're keen on these :)
- I bought mine from Snatchadeal when they were 2 for $5 but they're not currently in stock. They often pop up on NZ Sale too.
Have you tried these bronzers? Which one is your favourite?
Lani
