Now that I've popped up my first Kiss My Sass review post up, it's time to unleash the floodgates! Today I have some of the cream blushes and highlighters to share with you.
I think these might actually be the first creme cheek products I have tried from an indie brand before and I'm well and truly impressed. Sometimes indie formulations can be a bit less stable than their mainstream counterparts as their owners tweak recipes or packaging and so forth (one tube may be less airtight than another, causing ingredients to expire quicker, for example), but not so here. Kiss My Sass' creme products are lightweight and they spread and blend easily onto skin without meddling with your foundation or settling into pores. Pigmentation is even and buildable; they're excellent for a very natural finish. They last moderately well, around nine hours on me, or a little longer if set with powder.
Packaging:
These come in two packaging options: the full-size compact (at least 3 grams by weight, 37 mm pan size in a medium black mirrored compact) is $12USD or the sample pod (enough for a few uses in a clear clamshell) is $2.50USD. I've used these a couple of times already and there's still loads left, so 'a few uses' is a very conservative estimate in my view.
Let's start with the highlighter! Cupcakes & Kisses is a light shell pink, described as giving 'a hint of pink with golden shimmer'. It's quite subtle, making it well suited for those who prefer a natural and understated highlight.
Sweetness is described as a 'warm toned light pink', which sums it up perfectly! I love the delicate flush it gives and have been reaching for it often.
