A very belated Happy New Year to you all :) Technical difficulties with my brother's computer (which I was using to edit photos and write blog posts while we were with family for Christmas) meant I wasn't able to schedule any more posts before we went incommunicado on Great Barrier Island for a few weeks :( But I missed blogging, and have been itching to get back into it!
We had a really great time on holiday, lots of family time, quite a bit of shopping and then down time on the idyllic Barrier. Today I'd like to share some photos from our holiday, including my New Years make up. I've got lots of more posts planned too, so keep an eye out!
Stopped at Dressmart in Auckland to look for a new wallet. Came away with pretty new jandals from the Ipanema by Gisele Bundchen range. These were reduced to $20 at Hannahs outlet store and I had a $10 voucher, so I scored a bargain. Love at first sight. They are so comfy. I fear I have been converted to the ways of luxury jandals.

from a pharmacy in Mt Albert intended for New Years, but I opted for the Revlon ones in the end. I love the Wispies though, so I'm glad to have more. A brand new wallet and some hairties the shop owner very kindly threw in :)

Lots of photos featuring my News Year make up! I used my usual MAC Studio Sculpt in NC15, Select Cover-Up in NW15, Mighty Aphrodite blush and Lightscapade MSF.
For eyes I'm struggling to remember! But I believe it was my new Sleek Au Naturel palette for the eyeshadow. Then I did stacked winged liner using Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
and Lime Crime Rhyme, and topped everything with Bourjois 1001 Lashes Mascara
and Revlon Beyond Natural Defining lashes

Noel has developed a real thing for cars. He was constantly climbing into the family cars to put a seat belt on, or pretend to drive them.
